Caribbean Jerk Salmon

ALSO, NEED TO ADD LINK TO THE CILANTRO LIME BROWN RICE FOR THEM TO SEE.

 

Preheat your sauté pan to medium hi

Make blackening seasoning with granulated garlic, onion powder, salt, pepper, crushed red pepper, paprika, chili powder, oregano, and thyme

 

If your salmon has skin, remove skin as instructed, OR leave it on if you wish, just be sure to get it crispy

 

Cut into desired filet size

 

Coat salmon in jerk seasoning

 

Add oil to hot pan

 

Add salmon to pan

 

After about 3 minutes, flip salmon to other side

 

Reduce heat to medium/low and loosely cover to continue cooking and avoid over cooking

 

Finish making your Cilantro Lime Brown Rice as instructed

 

Plate as instructed OR as desired
