Spaghetti squash

Cut the ends off of the squash

 

Cut the squash in half lengthwise

 

Scoop seeds out of the squash half with spoon

 

Place squash fruit side down on plate with ¼ cup water

 

Microwave on high for 7-10 minutes depending on your microwave power

 

Using fork, scrape squash out of the skin

 

Add salt and pepper and a little olive oil

Slice your basil (chiffonade)

Add ½ of your basil

 

Add to bowl

 

Add sauce or your topping(s) of choice
