- First wipe your mushrooms off with a paper towel to remove the dirt.
- Next, if you are not comfortable with slicing the whole mushroom, cut in half lengthwise so you make a stable surface to cut.
- Keep your fingers inside and slice down the mushroom.
- If you want to slice it whole, grab mushroom to “stabilize” it so it doesn’t roll, then slice down.
- Now you can use for your favorite recipe.
